Freutag * Friday pleasure

Heute auf den Tag genau haben wir unsere Püppi 2 Jahre bei uns <3 (Wir haben sie ja aus dem Tierheim geholt). Ich freue mich wirklich soooooo sehr, dass diese anfänglich scheue Schönheit so zutraulich geworden ist. In der ersten Zeit ließ sie sich ja überhaupt nicht anfassen und begrüßte uns morgens immer mit einem Fauchen. Ich dachte auch eine Zeitlang, dass es offenbar Katzen gibt, die nicht schnurren können.
Und was habe ich mich gefreut, als sie doch eines Tages anfing. Hach, das waren so einige Momente, wo mir das Herz aufging ;-)

Today it is 2 years that Püppi is with us <3 (We got her from the animal shelter). I am indeed so happy that she changed from a "shy-don't-touch-me" to a "can't-get-enough-cuddles" beauty. For a while I even thought that there are cats that cannot purr. And what a great joy it was the day she started purring. There were some moments my heart opened and I fell for this furry little thing ;-)

Monatsrückblick {Mai} * Monthly review {May}

Heute schau ich schon auf den Mai zurück, obwohl er doch gerade erst angefangen hat... Die Zeit vergeht so unfassbar schnell. So halte ich dann gerne einen Moment inne und lasse den letzten Monat nochmals Revue passieren... sehr blumenlastig war's und ich habe wirklich eine Unmenge an Fotos geschossen, die Auswahl für die Collage war nicht einfach ;-)

Today I'm looking back to May, which has only just begun... Time goes by so incredibly fast. So I pause for a moment and take a review to the last month... comparatively many flowers and I really took tons of photos. The selection for the collage wasn't easy at all ;-)

Auf jeden Fall ist bei all den Fotos auch ein neues Lieblingsfoto von unserer Katze entstanden (das unten in der Mitte und auch zu sehen hier), welches ich auf eine Größe von 80 x 60 cm auf Leinwand habe vergrößern lassen. Das hängt jetzt an der Wand und sieht Hammer aus ;-)

And a result of all those photos is a new favourite shot of our cat (bottom centre and also shown here), which I got enlarged to a size of 80 x 60 cm / 31.5 x 23.6 inches onto canvas, and which is now hanging on the wall and looks mega cool  ;-)

Mitbewohner * Housemate

Unsere Katze Püppi habe ich ja schon mal gelegentlich gezeigt (hier | hier | hier).
Regina hat eine Linkparty zum Thema Haustiere, bei der ich doch gerne mal mitmache und ein paar Bildchen unseres Stubentigers zeige. Wir haben sie aus dem Tierheim geholt, und mittlerweile ist sie bald 2 Jahre bei uns. Es gibt immer noch eine Entwicklung in Sachen Zutraulichkeit, in solchen Momenten geht mir immer das Herz auf ;-)
Vor Püppi hatte ich schon eine Katze, Cleo, und sie ist fast 21 Jahre alt geworden, mein kleiner Methusalem. Ich habe gerade kein (digitales) Foto zur Hand, das reiche ich aber mal nach ;-)

Regina has a linkparty about pets, which I like to join with some images of our cat. 
We got her from the animal shelter almost 2 years ago and there is still a growth in confidence, in those moments my heart opens wide ;-)
Before Püppi I had another cat, Cleo, and she became almost 21 years of age, my little Methuselah. I don't have a (digital) photo at hand, so I'll show it another time.
