Work in progress - Ajour-Schal * Ajour shawl

Ich habe bei Sandra einen traumhaften Ajour-Schal entdeckt und dieses tolle Teil ist dann spontan auf Platz 1 meiner endlos langen Projektliste gehüpft! Was mir besonders gefällt ist der Mix aus gestricktem Ajourmuster und gehäkelter Spitzenkante.
Da das mit der Häkeljacke (hier vorgestellt) auf Grund von Materialengpass (noch) nichts gegeben hat - brauche ich für den Urlaub (es geht eine Woche nach Lanzarote :-D ) noch eine Beschäftigung für meine Hände. Die Wolle ist ein Traum aus federleichtem Mohair-Seide-Mix und ich habe mich für die Farbe Nachtblau entschieden. Und da sie so gut wie nichts wiegt - kann das mit ins Gepäck :-)

Anfangs muss man sich noch konzentrieren, aber dann geht das Muster schnell ins Gedächtnis. Das habe ich gestern Abend gestrickt.

I found this marvelous Ajour shawl on Sandra's blog and it jumped spontaneously to place 1 on my endless long project list. What I like best is the mix of knitted ajour pattern and crocheted lace edge.
I haven't started the crochet cardigan from here due to material shortage and I need something to keep my hands busy in the forthcoming holidays on Lanzarote :-D. The yarn is a dream of a feather-weight mohair-silk mix and I have chosen the colour night blue.

In the beginning the pattern needs some attention but then it's easy to memorise. This is my result from yesterday evening.

Ich liebe Katzen - auch Großkatzen - in diesem Fall Löwen :-) (Ich habe ja hier schon berichtet). Ich suchte im großen weiten Netz nach einer Anleitung für einen Häkel-Löwen und bin dann bei DaWanda fündig geworden. Sind diese Taschenbaumler nicht niedlich?

I love cats - also big cats - and in this case lions :-) (I already told you about my lion love here). I searched for a crochet pattern in the endless web and found one after my fancy on DaWanda (only in German). Aren't these bag pendants cute? Roar ;-)

Kennt ihr das auch? Man hat Urlaub und denkt sich, man hat Zeit im Überfluss - um dann festzustellen, das ist ein Trugschluss und sie vergeht auch noch viel schneller. Ich habe so viel vor: kreativ sein, Dinge aufarbeiten, die liegen geblieben sind, und und und - ich denke, ich habe mir einfach zu viel vorgenommen! Ich komme gar nicht dazu, mich zu erholen... runterschalten, entspannen - das ist gar nicht so einfach und es geht auch nicht auf Knopfdruck! Aber ich habe ja noch 2 Wochen vor mir ;-)

Heute gibt es eine kleine Serie über die Kapuzinerkresse - habt ihr schon mal die Blüten oder ganz jungen Blätter probiert? Die schmecken lecker - leicht pfeffrig.

Do you know that too? You are on holidays and thinking, you have time in abundance - and then realising it is a false conclusion and on top time is passing by even quicker. I have so many plans: being creative, finish things which are undone, and and and - I think, I have just planned too much! I don't get round to relaxing... slowing down, chilling - it is not that easy and not at a push of a button! But there are still 2 weeks ahead ;-)

Today I am showing you a little series of the Tropaeolum or commonly called Nasturtium. Have you ever tasted its blossoms or young leaves? They taste yummy - a bit peppery.

Happy weekend!

Wochenende und Urlaub - wenn das kein Grund zur Freude ist :-)
Und vor zwei Wochen am Freutag hatte ich mich über meine Amaryllis gefreut, die beschlossen hat, jetzt zu blühen - mittlerweile weiß ich auch in welcher Farbe: weiß! Aber schaut selbst.

And two weeks ago on Friday Pleasure I told you about my Amaryllis, which decided to bloom now. And meanwhile I know in which colour: white!

Meine Lieblingsduftrose blüht auch unermüdlich, leider kann ich euch keine Duftprobe liefern.
My favourite fragrant rose is blooming tireless, unfortunately I cannot give you a sample of its lovely fragrance.

Creadienstag * Creative Tuesday

Ich habe schon viele Dinge ausprobiert. Manche Dinge nur einmal, manche auch wiederholt. Eines dieser einmaligen Projekte war Töpfern. Die Mutter einer Freundin hatte einen Brennofen, von daher war es eine gute Gelegenheit. Vielleicht wiederhole ich es auch wieder irgendwann, denn es hatte schon sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Bis dahin erfreue ich mich an dieser Schale, die mich immer an einen Sternenhimmel erinnert.

I tried out many things in my life. Some of them only once, some repeated. One of these one-time projects was pottery. The mom of a friend had a kiln, so it was a good opportunity. Maybe I'll do it again eventually, because I really liked it. Until then I enjoy my bowl, which reminds me of a starry sky.
